About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this very large hand carved Antique Victorian circa 1840-1860 oak library bookcase with ornate scholar carvings
This is a very grand piece of English country house furniture. It has ornate carving all over with what looks like a shakespearing scholar to the middle top
The shelves are all height adjustable and or removable so the bookcase can be used to accommodate your collection. It comes in two pieces for ease of transport and installation
We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be age and use related patina marks here and there
