William Hinn Dresser Cabinet

About the Item

Cool, sculptural Swedish walnut four-drawer dresser with wall mount cabinet (three compartments) by William Hinn. Amazing design with the curved dresser extending into pegged legs which protrude like organic struts supporting the drawers. Beautifully matched wood grains across front of both the drawers and the doors of the cabinet Shown in photographs with Lucite floating spacers to simulate a wall mount cabinet above dresser, but, this was originally used with cabinet placed directly on the dresser (please note shadow fade in images). Designed by William Hinn, made in Sweden by Swedish furniture guild for Urban Furniture. Labelled by retailer, David Jones, NYC. Back is marked "Made in Sweden, Factory #24". Dresser with four curved drawers measures 45" x 24" deep x 34.5" in height. Floating cabinet measures 39" x 18.5" deep x 12" high with an additional 1.25" plinth below.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. Some light scuffing on legs, would benefit from light cleaning. Strip of dark discoloration on left side of dresser top next to where cabinet was once placed. Very good overall condition.
