Stunning small size Art Deco cabinet with silvered bronze handles on the drawers.
When it comes to antiques, somehow we have always known what to buy when it comes to quality, beauty and practicality. We don't know why, but those right pieces also keep coming on our paths and people who love our items keep doing so as well. We believe and feel that we are doing what we are supposed to be doing and we are very grateful for that. When we first saw this cabinet, we immediately knew we were never going to find another one and held onto it for more than a decade. Now we feel that this 1920s French work of beauty is ready to be enjoyed by a next custodian. The design and the materials that were used to hand-craft this cabinet made us immediately fall in love with it. The combination of the dark and beautifully striped coromandel exterior, the colorful birdseye maple interior and the silvered bronze Art Deco handles is such a treat that it is hard to keep your eyes off of this unique Art Deco piece. We believe it must be by one of the famous French designers, but we never found a maker's mark. Apart from a few minor imperfections this avantgardistic Art Deco cabinet is in superb condition and most certainly ready to be used and enjoyed. No matter how long you will own it or where you decide to have it in display, this kind of design and top quality workmanship will keep impressing you and everyone visiting.
