About the Item
This is a very beautiful Swedish hand-carved 19th century wooden baking trough in Wabi Sabi style.
It comes made in pine with lovely patina reflecting its age.
On both sides there are handles. To carry, of course, but above all to get a good grip to hold with one hand while kneading the dough with the other. The trough was cut oblong and at a low angle for the same reason.
The makers signature, L H O, is carved on the underside.
