Dutch Yew Wood Paladian & Bombay Linen Press, Circa 1760
About the Item
Dutch Yew Wood linen press with an upper case paladian acanthus cornice, centered urn with laurel wreath, dental molding, over flanking floral carved doors concealing a fitted interior shelving and three drawers. Press has a lower Bombay three drawer case with the original brasses, a centered floral ribbon medallion, and terminating with a carved scalloped skirt on splayed feet. Mid-late 18th century.
