18th Century French Secretary Desk

About the Item

This gorgeous Louis XV Secretary desk dates back to around 1750-60 and was made in France. The secretaire de dame has a kingwood veneer and a very pretty marquetry with a diamond shape decor on the outside of the writing flap. The writing surface is covered with green leather. The inside of the writing compartment has 5 drawers and an open compartment. Additionally there are two drawers on the outside. The secretaire is in very good refinished condition. It ships from Germany and includes shipping costs and duty to Boston.
