Danish Blue Painted Baroque Cabinet Bureau / Secretaire
About the Item
18th Century Danish Baroque period secretary cabinet in two parts. Crafted in oak, painted in a beautiful blue color and a dark grey interior.
Upper cabinet with curved crown and a decorative carved swan neck pediment over double doors the follows the crown. The doors open to reveal an interior with shelves and drawers.
The lower section features 4 serpentine drawers below a sloping-front opening to reveal a grey painted interior with small drawers.
Later professional painted with wonderful and distressed, authentic finish.
