Architectural Form 19th C. Swedish Birch Biedermeier Barrel Roll Secretaire

About the Item

Strong Architectural Form, early 19th Century elegant Swedish Biedermeier Secretaire with book matched flame birch veneer, pyramidal top, locking upper storage compartments, barrel roll desk with pull out tilting writing surface with hidden compartments, internal desk compartments / drawers and 3 lower chest of drawers on block feet. The original locks and key are functioning and provided. Was purchased in Chicago in 1998, finish was restored in Europe prior to import. Overall in nice condition, right upper door does have a vertical age crack on the door, common with pieces of this age. More photos coming soon.
