Danish Golden Age Etagere

About the Item

A Danish painted etagere, Circa 1850's, of rectangular form with four shelves raised on square supports surmounted with ebonized ball finials, with a Classically painted upper and lower frieze. Original paint. This etagere is painted in the manner and style of Georg Christian Hilker (1807-1875) who was a well documented Golden Age decorative painter.
