Pair of Vintage Gilded Iron and Glass Etageres

About the Item

These vintage stands are almost certainly American made and are from the early 1950s-late 1960s. This form most unusual for the shape and style of the pieces are large and impressive. Made of gilded iron with a faux bamboo design on the shelf supports and upright members. Then topped with gilded palm leaf details and large reflective clear balls. The etageres have five shelves arranged in ever-increasing size glass shelves. Though most likely made as material for the display of goods in a commercial setting they would make a great statement in any home. The gilding is in good shape with a nice rich old patina.
