About the Item
Pine consists - in addition to steel wall profiles - of pine shelves with a signature pattern and natural look. The new wall system offers endless possibilities; from a single wall shelf to a wall filling bookcase.
The different parts are available in several lengths and widths. And to ensure that the cabinet fits in perfectly within every interior, there is a wide choice of colors for both the shelves and wall profiles.
Bas Vellekoop knows how to combine the traditional craftsmanship of local furniture makers with digital production techniques, such as computer-controlled milling of wood and 3D laser cutting of steel. The unique combination of craft and modern technique makes it possible to subtle attach the wooden planks to the wall profiles. This gives the design the well-known signature of simplicity in detailing and construction.
Design and production:
All products of BAS VELLEKOOP are designed in The Hague, the Netherlands, known for its Dutch Design. All products are produced locally, this ensures flexibility, quality and perfect craftmanship.
Materials and finishes
The PINE wall cabinets are made out of steel and pine. The finish of the steel wall profile is a durable fine texture powder coating which is easy to clean. The wooden shelves are finished with Rubio Monocoat, a hardwax oil wood protector based on 2 components made out of line seed. It has a great wear-, water- and heat resistance and has 0% VOC, and does not contain any water or solvents.
