1950s Gordon Russell Hardwood and Mahogany "Double Helix' Sideboard

About the Item

1950s Mahogany and Hardwood sideboard designed by David Booth and Judith Ledeboer for Gordon Russell of Broadway. Model 407 originally exhibited at the Festival of Britain in 1951, later went into production in 1953, and has become an iconic piece of mid-20th century furniture. Routed Hardwood doors with a double helix pattern hung within a mahogany frame, brass ring handles with an internal baize lined cutlery drawer. This sideboard is in very good vintage condition, having been restored and refurbished.
