Acerbis 1980s Sideboard Designed by Lodovico Acerbis and Giotto Stoppino

About the Item

Soffio di Vento was a creation penned by Lodovico Acerbis and Giotto Stoppino that went beyond the simple need to contain with free sliding doors to avoid any pre-defined open or closed parts. Soffio di Vento won an Honourable Mention at the 14th ADI Compasso d’Oro. This well designed cabinet was part of the Soffio di Vento collection, designed and produced in the middle 1980s. The cabinet is made of massive wood laquered in black, red and white. The sliding doors you can place to your own discretion for a very nice contrast. It's a piece of furniture that amazes when open and surprises when closed, a blend of Acerbis experience and design philosophy. A simple shape and a pure volume. Domus November 1986.
