Aesthetic Movement English Sideboard

About the Item

The sideboard comes from England from the late 19th century, it was built from English walnut in the course of the Aesthetic Movement. The fittings are made of brass, the doors open by turning the handles, keys are not provided. The sideboard has a drawer in the top centre and a door underneath. The two side panels are also arranged in the same way, only the door is not arranged over the full height but higher up, so that there is an open compartment underneath and the furniture gains in overall lightness. All doors are decorated with handmade floral carvings.
