Antique Large Blue Painted Oak Sideboard Cabinet from Sweden

About the Item

The heavily paneled doors and attractive blue painted finish draw one to this handsome oak sideboard. The newer professionally applied blue finish reveals layers of paint and distress that add an aged grace to this cabinet that was crafted in the early 1800's. The finish is beautifully accented with a contrasting white faux paint on the front doors. This cabinet will serve as a handsome buffet with one long drawer over two cabinet doors, case rests on large bun feet. Restored, it is solid, stable and ready to be used and enjoyed. Any scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are commensurate with age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely piece. Lock function is commensurate with age and use. With over 37 years of experience selling European antiques, our brick-and-mortar storefront, Round Top Ranch Antiques (located in Texas) offers one of the largest curated selections in the nation with over fifteen thousand square feet of inventory to choose from. We look forward to helping you find the perfect addition to your home or workspace.
