Early 19th Century Swedish Country Sideboard

About the Item

Country house sideboard with a curved front from northern Sweden. The sideboard is from the 1820 to 1830s and is made in painted pine. It has two doors and rounded corners as well as a hand carved decor. It also has two drawers as well as shelves behind the doors. The sideboard is a grand and solid piece with distinctly stately features. The height combined with the strong shape and carved decor sets it apart. With its large presence this sideboard does require its space but in the right setting it will add a solid focal point and stately feel to any room or setting.
