French Art Deco Amboyna Sideboard by René Joubert

About the Item

This elegant sideboard, created in 1929 for “Maison D.I.M.” by famed designers René Jouvert and Philippe Petit, is a stunning example of French Art Deco design. Both timeless and versatile in design, it features a stunning Amboyna grain across the top, front and sides with and inlaid exotic fruitwood in a simple floral motif across the upper drawer faces, and having bone handles on each of its nine generous drawers, this piece is suitable for nearly any space. Very well maintained, the wood is simply gorgeous in both colour and grain pattern. All 9 drawers slide easily.
