Irish Regence Mahogany Sideboard / Serving Table with Rare Wood Gallery

About the Item

This Regal Irish sideboard is made of the finest solid Cuban mahogany and has a rare stacked ring turned post gallery, 19th century. The gallery also consist of solid mahogany carved reeded rods, double stacked ring post in between, finished with fine turned finials. The Gallery is above a two inch solid mahogany slab top with bookmatched reeded rope edge and bisquette corners. The frontal frieze has six "1" inch full horizontal reeds which also match the sides. The turned legs have vertical reeding above stacked ring turnings above vertical spiral twist reeding, finishing in a cone to ball foot. This Stately Irish Country House Sideboard is magnificent in person. Measurements 51 inches gallery height (38 inches Serving height) by 87 3/4 inches wide by 28 1/2 inches deep.
