Italian Mid-Century Sideboard in Parchment with Marble and Brass
About the Item
Unusual Italian sideboard covered in parchment. The demi-lune credenza features a handprinted stylized leaf pattern as a border on the parchment. The frame perimeter showcases a ribbed detailing in fruitwood, whereas the top of the sideboard is decorated with the originate white marble (with cream and tan veining). The base of the buffet displays brass border foot with linear brass accents that are recessed into the parchment base. The base also features a decorative accent in the center, crated in wood and finishing in 24K gold leaf. The interior of the piece is super clean, as if its was never used before. The side cabinets open to shelved storage whereas the center door opens to four pencil drawers with brass inlays and handles. On the right interior door is the sticker of the manufacturer Artigiani as well as an engraved stamp on the top of the door.
