Mid Century Italian Sideboard in Walnut with Flap Bar
About the Item
Elegant early 1950s hall or living room sideboard in walnut with brass details and a flap with bar area in the centre.
It is a piece of furniture with a Vintage Design but at the same time with a touch of modernity given by the sinuous and soft lines.
On the sides it has doors with a large internal space also given by the shelf present, while centrally we find a flap depicting an Italian landscape from the early twentieth century.
Inside, the sides are formed by mirrors, as is the back of the flap, while in the lower part, the glass is not mirrored but decorated.
The central shelf is in transparent glass.
The upper floor is a decorated glass plate surrounded by a wooden frame and a backsplash.
Inside the flap there is a light bulb enclosed in a wooden and plastic plate with a protruding cable that runs from the back of the piece of furniture to the key lock in the central area.
Note the particularity and shape of the brass handles and the front tips of the feet.
The three locks (left door, right door and flap) are all in working order.

- Condition:Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. The sideboard has been oil rubbed is ready to place, it has normal signs of wear consistent with age and use. The electrical system needs to be replaced/rewired as it is the original one of the time and obsolete.
