Pair of Minimal Wall Mounted 1960's Sideboards with Diamond Veneer
About the Item
A pair of Mid Century Modern wall hung cabinets by Franz Meyer Mobel, Germany, dated 1968. Both cabinets are veneered with multiple diamond shape designs on the front doors in hardwood veneer.
Very good vintage condition, with the original label attached on the back of the cabinets - the label has the original customer name + address.
On the inside, the 1st wall cabinet is mirrored at the back with the black glass shelf and drawer, designed as a cocktail bar.
The 2nd wall cabinet has a shelf system on the inside divided in section and includes an original safe, (no code available), and drawer. The cabinets are white on the inside, both open forward on a hinge system.
They work well next or opposite to each other, as side cabinets next to a sofa or as bed side cabinets.
