Shapland & Petter Extremely Rare Arts & Crafts Mahogany Inlaid Dining Room Suite

About the Item

Shapland & Petter. An extremely rare mahogany dining room set consisting of a sideboard, a buffet and two chairs. The sideboard and buffet all with stylized floral panels inlaid with fruit woods, Pewter and Abalone, these floral panel are after a design by M. H. Baillie Scott and one of the most beautiful and pure Arts & Crafts floral designs that Shapland & Petter used. There are a number of Baillie Scott designs that Shapland & Petter used and it is quite possible that Baillie Scott may have sold designs to Shapland 7 Petter. Measures: Sideboard height 85 1/2 inches, width 60 1/2 inches, depth 22 1/2 inches. Buffet height 72 inches, width 46 1/2 inches, depth 22 inches.
