Early 20th C Opticians Spectacles Display Shop Cabinet Ebonised Gilt Vitrine
About the Item
An early 20th century opticians display cabinet, with its original hand painted gilt advertising signage over a decorative pelmet.
Lead lined outer top, so one would assume was previously used outside. Iron hanging brackets, and its original worn deep blue velvet backing board.
Bull nose trim with glazed internal shelving, untouched original ebonised painted finish. Age related craquelure to the painting surface, age related wear, knocks and abrashiosn circa 1910 in age English in origins.
