French Verni Martin Display Cabinet, 19th Century
About the Item
A good quality late 19th century French Louis XVI style bombe fronted vitrine, having classical gilded scrolling foliate and monopodia ormolu mounts, shaped and bowed glass pains and door, hand painted panels depicting lakeland scenes, classical cherubs and lovers. Raised on six elegant out swept feet, terminating in scrolling ormolu feet.
