About the Item
The Mikado Collection is inspired by the game "Pick a stick" we used to play in childhood. And this vitrine "Mikado Display Case" is a beautiful way of flaunting those collectibles that we love — unique pieces, sometimes full of sentimental value that shouldn't be in a drawer.
Tubes of copper, which remind us of the Mikado sticks game, are cut with precise angles and fitted with great accuracy in the furniture providing much-needed support.
The listed piece is made in black oak wood, black lacquered wood, and brushed copper. However, this vitrine is also available in customized options and a bigger size.
Needs simple assembly.

In 2018, all the Mikado Collection, including this piece, won a "Silver A' Design Award" in the "Furniture, Decorative Items, and Homeware Design" category.
This piece is entirely made in Portugal and manufactured artisanally. The author carefully executed or supervised every process step in a small workshop context.
