Large, original Biedermeier Armoire in cherry veneer, from Rhineland, Germany circa 1820.
Wonderful, bright cherry veneer, hand-polished with shellac (French Polish).
Beautiful big and curved cherry veneered cornice, classicist arch on the doors and four lockable drawers at the bottom.
Ebonized oval escutcheons around the keyholes and ebonized inner edges of the arch at the front
Inside three shelves covered with black fabric. Working, old box lock.
Can be completely dismantled.
