We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning original 1827 dated Antique German folded linen or pot cupboard that can also be used as a wardrobe I have recently purchased a very large collection of these original, antique painted wardrobes and trunks, I have around 15 wardrobes and 20 trunks in total, each one totally different, this sale is for the piece listed above with all others being listed under my other items This one is an exceptionally good looking well made and collectable piece, the hand painted detailing is exquisite throughout, the piece comes complete with the original lock and key which are fully functional. This one has full shelves inside for folded linens or to be used as a pot cupboard, the shelves could be removed and a rail fitted for hanging cloths should the new owner wish Condition wise this wardrobe has all the original paint and finish, there will be age and use related patina marks as you would expect, all of which add to the honesty, charm and charisma of the wardrobe Dimensions Height:- 179.5cm Width:- 130.5cm Depth:- 53.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
