Cesare Lacca Folding Bar Cart Trolley Original Frosted Glass, Brass & Mahogany
About the Item
Exquisite Mid Century Modern Italian folding, rolling bar cart by Cesare Lacca. Made in the 1950s Italy, it evokes the same influences as other icons of the era: Gio Ponti, Ico Parisi and Gigi Radice.
This extraordinarily preserved set includes the original upper and lower glass, which features a ringed frosting detail around the perimeter, as well as a beautiful brass frame that clips into the base. This piece is also unusually folding / collapsible. This makes it ideal for easy storage.
Made of mahogany stained and lacquered wood with brass frames, accents and wheels.
The piece is in original unrestored condition, and yet in structurally excellent shape. No chips or cracks in the original glass with edge frosting detail. The brass appropriately (and exquisitely patinated).

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. All original, including the partially frosted glass inserts! Only subtle signs of age and wear. Brass has age-patinated, could be polished to a bright shine if so desired.
