American 18th Century Federal Period Tripod Tilt-Top Table in Apple Wood

About the Item

American federal tripod tilt-top table in apple wood, probably of Connecticut origin. The graceful scalloped edge of the top and cabriole legs along with the well proportioned vase turned stem set this table apart from the more usual rectangular or round tilt-top tables, circa 1780.
