Antique Thomas Chippendale Fret Work Carved Card Games Tray Table Removable Top

About the Item

We are delighted to offer this lovely very rare Thomas Chippendale style Fret work carved occasional table with removable tray top revealing a baize lined card or games table A good looking and well made piece, it is of course made after Thomas Chippendale, this is a circa 1900 piece, the quality of the top is first class and looks amazing in any setting. Its designed as a tray table for serving drinks and snacks with the additional feature of having a games or card baize lined top on the underside Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the timber has a nice warm patina, there will be some light age and use related marks here and there, there are some small losses and old repairs to the fret work carving Dimensions Height:- 51cm Width:- 52cm Depth:- 53cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
