Georgian style walnut tea table
This superb Georgian style walnut tea table was made circa 1900.
You couldn’t ask for a better design, the proportion and style that would be of a fine piece becoming of a stately home or museum.
It is of a beautiful faded walnut colour, with the projecting rounded corners and cross banding to the top.
The rear leg swings out to support the top when in use.
It stands on elegant cabriole legs with the fine carving to the knees and ending on claw and ball feet.
The frieze with the fine crisply carved edge with a central shell and foliate designs coming away from the shell.
This is a delightful tea table and will look special in your home.
It has many uses not just for eating at but can be used for card games or the like, obviously its main use is to sit against a wall and looking extra special in a hall, drawing room or a dining area.
