Oval Walnut Tea Table, circa 19th Century
About the Item
We present you this antique table made of walnut wood; with a top covered with walnut burl with a beautiful graining. The whole is circa 1870.
The tabletop is oval, of a wavy shape, with an edge finished with a profiled molding, which is elevated above the top’s surface.
Furthermore, the middle of the top is ornamented with intarsia in the shape of a compass rose.
The base is placed on four legs, which are composed of double volutes connected with a cross bar with a pinnacle in the middle.
Presented piece of furniture is after a renovation; French-polished. Beautiful and functional!
