EARLY 19th CENTURY GILDED WOOD TABLE WITH SIMILAR MALACHITE FABRIC
About the Item
This coffee table carved in pine wood and gilded with pure gold leaf is a truly elegant piece of art. Its Italian manufacturing from the early 19th century (ca. 1820) testifies to its historical and artistic value. The coffee table has four curly legs, while the support is characterized by four twisted columns, which give the piece of furniture a refined and sophisticated appearance. The table top has an octagonal shape, and is covered in malachite-style fabric, a pattern that recalls the green shades and veins of the precious mineral. This gives the coffee table greater beauty and uniqueness, and is covered with a glass top. The manufacturing and the refined details make it a unique and valuable piece.
