French Late 19th Century Louis XVI St. Mahogany and Leather Library/Center Table
About the Item
An elegant and large scale French late 19th century Louis XVI st. mahogany and leather library/center table. The rectangular table is raised by slender circular tapered fluted legs with fine fitted ormolu sabots. Above each leg are handsome block reserves flanking the straight apron decorated with a recessed design. Above is the original gold tooled fitted brown leather writing surface framed within an elegant band with a mottled border.
