Late 1700s Swedish Rustic Baroque Centre Table

About the Item

Swedish baroque centre table from the late 1700s. The table is a work table and rustic and primitive in its construction. The detached table top is made from three wooden planks over an inch / 3 cm thick and shows signs of continuous use. The use have only added to the table and given the table top a naturally smoothed out and patinated surface. The table top is clean of paint as it always has been and the frame is painted red. Untouched original condition with an authentic patina of time, achieved by almost 250 years of use. Healthy and solid frame. The table top has an old small repair – see picture. Some traces of use.
