Swedish Neoclassical Style Painted Hall Table with Lyre Motifs and Lion Feet

About the Item

A Swedish Neoclassical style painted wood hall table from the early 20th century, with lyre motifs and brass lion feet. Created in Sweden during the early years of the 20th century, this hall table features a rectangular top sitting above an apron carved with garland motifs. Raised on four tapered legs accented with lyres and connected to one another through a curving cross stretcher, the table is resting on brass lion paw feet. Painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes, this Swedish Neoclassical style hall table circa 1900 will bring a touch of undeniable elegance to any foyer or living room.
