The oval top veneered in a radiating pattern with highly figured walnut, with stiff-leaf gilt-metal banding, over a frieze drawer; raised on gilt-metal mounted fruitwood volutes and a carved giltwood lyre encircled by a laurel wreath, both emblems of the god Apollo; on an incurved plinth base.
