18th Century Walnut Coffee Table with Later Top

About the Item

This is a lovely coffee table. The base is period Louis XV which dates from around 1750-1770, and is made from walnut. The top is a later addition, but added most likely in the 19th century, and is made from oak. The top has pretty graining tot he wood, and is supported on wonderfully hand turned walnut legs, joined by complementing stretchers. The patina is rich and warm and this table would be a lovely addition to any home or office.
