About the Item
A contemporary lost wax cast bronze coffee table base sculpture from the 21st century depicting an ant. Created with the traditional technique of the lost-wax (à la cire perdue) which allows for great precision and finesse in the details, this coffee table base captures our attention with its depiction of an ant sitting on its behind and supported by its hind legs, its front ones lifted up along with its antennas to support the table top of your choice. The glass top shown in the photos is not included, but only added to help picturing the full table. For information, the glass top chosen measures 36 inches of diameter. We do recommend glass for its see through effect. Boasting a dark patina, this lost wax cast bronze ant coffee table base will make for a great addition to any living room or covered patio, as well as a great sculpture in the garden!.
