Custom Salvaged Jatoba Wood and Glass Coffee Table by Tunico T, Brazil, Signed
About the Item
Custom live edge made coffee table by Brazilian designer Tunico T featuring a salvaged chunk of Jatoba wood which has been crafted to make a sturdy plinth base for a thick piece of oval shaped glass to be mounted. The glass is anchored by sturdy aluminum hardware enabling it to be secure. The wood shows organically formed crevasses making it a piece of art in itself and the majority has been coated with a red stain to emphasize the intrinsic beauty of the wood. The artist's signature is found on the wood base.
This eye catching piece would be a great addition as part of a classic or contemporary living room, den, man (or woman!) cave, family room, office or bedroom. It would also be an apt choice in a corporate, retail or hospitality location such as a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, executive office or in a luxe clothing emporium.
