Incredible midcentury live edge or free edge solid slab coffee table or bench in the style of George Nakashima. It is in wonderful vintage condition with normal wear, circa 1950s-1980s.
Organic modern is always in style. And this coffee table, or bench, is one of the most handsome examples we have seen recently. So, we snapped it up to be able to offer it to you. The most celebrated designer of organic furniture is of course George Nakashima and this piece pays homage to his work. Comprised of a gorgeous thick slab of pine or fir with a live edge and beautiful grain for the top with two smaller slabs forming the pair of legs. Simple but stunning! It will compliment many design styles from mid-century modern to industrial, from rustic to boho chic, or country to primitive. So, whether you use it as a coffee table or as a bench…….make it yours.
