Monumental Oregon Redwood and Iron Live Edge Cocktail Table, 1960-2007

About the Item

A 1960s Oregon redwood burl coffee table that had been a single slab of burl that was cool but really low. The table had warped with age and the finish was gone. I hand planed the top for 65 hours in the Camden, Maine studio of Phi Designs. Benjamin Leavitt of Hope, Maine is a very talented ironsmith who I commissioned to design and build the custom-made iron base in 2007. The table is in excellent condition.
