About the Item

The base of our stunning coffee table is a professionally stripped and chrome polished fan blade from a Rolls Royce Avon jet engine from a RAF Canberra bomber. The table top is toughened/ secure glass. The Royal Air Force English Electric Canberra was a first generation jet-powered light bomber, in period, capable of flying at a higher altitude than any other bomber, subsequently setting a world altitude record in 1957. This was the perfect tactical nuclear strike aircraft serving in the Vietnam and Falklands wars, before being retired from the RAF in 2006, some 57 years after its first flight. The Canberra was powered with technologically advanced twin Rolls Royce Avon engines. Specification: Height 44cm width 63cm, glass diameter 70cm
