Monumental "Alle" Ebonized Oak Table Designed by Staffan Holm for Hem
About the Item
A monumental conference table or work table in ebonized solid oak. A great size for an architect or professional office. Retails new for $5,149 to $6,249. The table is structurally sound with age-appropriate wear as shown in the images. Labled "Designed by Staffan Holm - Hem" underside.
The Hem website says the following "Staffan Holm repurposed traditional carpentry techniques for the design of the solid-oak Alle Table, which features a structural beam on the underside recalling ancient Japanese temple architecture. In this and many other ways, the Alle Table is especially Hem: traditional modes of making reclaimed for modern manufacture; good looks and practicality given equal consideration; engineering and handwork combined; quality materials used liberally. Alle means “everyone” in German, and this table is a true reflection of the design principles we cherish. The Conference Media variation of the Alle Table comes with media ports and hidden compartments for neat storage and cable management, helping you work more efficiently."
