An antique Burmese bamboo altar console table in Japanese style from the early 20th century, with negora lacquer and striped pattern inset. Born in Burma during the early years of the 20th century, this unusual Japanese style negora lacquer console table features a rectangular top with striped inset, surrounded by a wooden frame. The table is raised on eye-catching bamboo legs connected to one another through an H-form cross stretcher. With its great proportions and lovely finish, this Burmese altar table will bring a strong presence to any home, whether used as a console table or serving table.
