Early 19th C. Gilded, Painted and Carved Swedish Console with Eagle and Mirror

This is an exceptional period neoclassical finely carved and giltwood console with mirror, created by Johan Martin Berg (1772–1852) in Gothenburg, Sweden, circa 1820. This piece is of the highest quality for the period! It was a lucky find for us, coming from an estate in the Northeast US.
