Beautiful French Louis XVI style Vernis Martin giltwood Trumeau mirror and console, 19th century.
The carved giltwood mirror is surmounted with a foliate-inspired crest over an oval oil on canvas depicting a romantic scene of a French couple in the park, over a shaped triptych mirror, above a D-shaped giltwood console with an inset marble top, supported by four tapered fluted legs, conjoined by a K-form stretcher.
