About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely circa 1920s gold giltwood gesso occasional table with mirror top and putti on swing base
A lovely piece, this commands attention in any setting, it has such a feeling of life and innocent pleasure. The table has been gold leaf gilt from top to bottom, the mirror top can be used as a tray, the underside reveals a storage area. Alternatively, is has been altered so the mirror can stand and be used as a dressing table
The condition is good, there has been some touch up to the gold finish here and there, otherwise its totally original

Height 143cm with the mirror erected, 88.5cm with the mirror flat
Width 63cm frame, 44cm mirror
Depth 47cm
