Pair of French 19th Century Baroque Serpentine Wrought Iron Wall Console Tables
About the Item
A Large Pair of French 19th Century Baroque Style Free-Standing Serpentine Wrought Iron Wall Console Tables with marble top. The slender bowed wrought iron bodies surmounted with leaf and flower ornaments on an architectural frame with a black paint finish. The marble tops are later. Originally, these were architectural balconies or balustrades removed from a 19th Century Château and converted into wall consoles. Circa of Balconies: 1870-1880.
Please note that one console is slightly smaller than the other and they may be sold separately.

- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: These were originally wrought iron balconies, but they have now been converted into free standing console tables. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. The finish is very worn with areas of oxidation, paint chipping and over-paint. The marble tops are later with minor usage scratches. Elements were welded to convert these into free standing consoles. Sold As Is. Please view all images..
