'Momentum Table' by Soo Joo is an Organic Modern sculptural console table in Hard Maple wood. The artist creatively reimagines the essence of traditional Korean aesthetic into a modern minimal context in this piece.
It has a timeless, distilled form that elevates any interior. The designer's intuitive eye for novel forms and her sensitivity to detail comes from the artist’s background in fine art. The table top shape of Momentum Table is derived from a monoprint artwork pictured above with the table. Soo Joo's works use natural materials that have a long history with mankind, which makes her works timeless and visually soothing.
Momentum Table received Honorable Mention in the 2023 Cheongju Craft Biennial and Craft Competition.
